Teen Zippered Floor Pouf

Calling all teens! Join us and make a beginner-friendly zippered pouf chair! Grab your friend to sew with you too! Why not?

This is a beginner-friendly class just for teens! In this class, students will make their very own zippered floor pouf that they can stuff with pillows, scraps, blankets or anything soft. 

What is a Pouf?! Poufs are a versatile piece of furniture. Poufs are unique in that they are solid, yet soft, and therefore they can be used in a variety of different ways. They can function as a chair, footrest, tabletop, and more! 

Students will learn:

• To sew a zipper
• To sew a cube
• How to make room decor of their own!

This class is designed for beginner sewists and basic knowledge of using a sewing machine is necessary. Students will work at their own pace during class using studio machines. 

Date: 

Monday, November 6; 6-9:00pm (No school the next day!)
