About the event
Have you ever scrolled through Pinterest and been dazzled by incredibly complicated quilting blocks? Chances are, they’re made with Foundation Paper Piecing or FPP.
FPP is a revolutionary quilting technique that allows even beginner quilters to get precise, even, points and angles (almost!) every time. Through the magic of regular old printer paper and a very sharp needle, you’ll be able to create beautiful blocks--from traditional motifs, to animals, flowers, and letters--with precision in no time. And you’ll be able to do it all without intricate cuts and measurements. By the end of class, you’ll have made at least one FPP quilt block with the knowledge to make many more.
This class is suitable for beginner to intermediate sewists and quilters. Knowledge of a sewing machine (including how to replace and thread a needle and how to adjust your stitch length), quarter-inch seams, and pressing is required.
